This data is [Cancer Registration Statistics 2022] collected by the Central Cancer Registry (designated by the National Cancer Center) through the National Cancer Registry Statistics Project, and provides cancer incidence statistics from 1999 to 2022. (Unit: people, incidence rate per 100,000 people) It provides statistical information on cancer that occurred in Korea by year, and includes data categorized by gender, age group, and cancer type. It is basic data that can be used to understand the scale and distribution of cancer occurrence, and is widely used in establishing health and medical policies and disease prevention research. Since it is reliably constructed based on national cancer registration statistics, it can be used as the basis for cancer occurrence trend analysis and related research.
The Public Data Utilization Support Center automatically converts and provides open-format file data of three or more steps open to public data portals into open APIs (RestAPI-based JSON/XML).
To use the open API, you need to sign up for a public data portal membership and apply for utilization. For inquiries about utilization, please contact the Public Data Utilization Support Center.
