Here is the status of foreigners with the G-1-10 (medical treatment) visa by nationality. These are annual statistics from 2019 to 2024. Medical Treatment (G-1-10) a. Issuance Target - Foreign patients who wish to enter the country for the purpose of receiving treatment or care at a domestic medical institution at the invitation of a medical tourism attraction organization* * Those who have completed registration with the Minister of Health and Welfare as a medical institution for attracting foreign patients or a foreign patient attraction business operator in accordance with the Medical Service Act - Accompanying family members, such as a spouse, who need to enter the country together to care for a foreign patient, etc. b. Invitation Qualifications - Those registered as a medical institution for attracting foreign patients or a attraction business operator in accordance with the Medical Service Act - Only permitted when an inviter registered as a attraction organization applies for a visa issuance certificate online (visa.go.kr) (effective January 1, 2012) c. Contents of visa issuance certificate issuance - In case of short-term treatment and travel period of 90 days or less: Residence qualification c-3-3, period of stay within 90 days, but visa validity period is 3 months for single visa, 6 months for double visa, and within 5 years for multiple visa
