Korea Power Exchange_Regional and hourly solar and wind power generation
ㅁ Updated solar and wind power data for 2024.
ㅇ Contents: Solar and wind power trading volume (MWh) by region and time zone ㅇ Regional classification: (Solar power) by city/province, (Wind power) Mainland/Jeju * A review of the number of wind turbines by region revealed that some areas have fewer than three. Due to the risk of disclosing business information about specific corporations, this data is provided separately for mainland and Jeju Island. (Changes made after December 2023) * This information may change in the future due to revisions to the accounting.
Items: Transaction date, transaction time, region, fuel source, power generation Unit: MWh
* This data is the power transaction volume of generators participating in the electricity market, and does not include generators and private vehicles that transact directly with Korea Electric Power Corporation in accordance with Article 19, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Electricity Business Act. The power transaction volume is the power generation amount based on the transmission line, excluding losses from the main power plant and the surrounding transformers, and the value may change due to adjustments, etc.
* Solar and wind power generation amounts include ESS charging and discharging, so a small amount of power generation during late-night hours may occur due to ESS discharging.
