This service provides access to ultra-short-term real-time information, ultra-short-term forecasts, short-term ((formerly) neighborhood) forecasts, and forecast version information. Ultra-short-term real-time information provides representative AWS observations for the forecast area, ultra-short-term forecasts provide forecasts for up to 6 hours from the forecast time, and short-term forecasts provide forecasts that are detailed in both time and space by expanding the forecast period to the number of characters and detailing the forecast unit (3 hours → 1 hour). Short-term forecasts are announced by subdividing the forecast period and area into both time and space. To minimize user inconvenience due to regional time differences, the entire country is divided into 5km x 5km grids and provide detailed weather information centered on administrative districts such as townships, counties, and neighborhoods.
