Open Data Strategy Council is an organization that deliberate, coordinate, monitor and evaluate government’s major Open Data policies, plans and their implementation.
“Open government data” refers to data created from information and material provided by all public sector organizations.
The purpose of the Council is to boost people's convenience and create value and jobs through utilization of public data by private sector.
By opening up open government data, Open Data Strategy Council will create new business opportunities and act as basis for quality of life and creative economy.
