The In-Depth Survey on Discharge Injuries is a nationally approved statistic (approval number: 117060) conducted on patients discharged from medical institutions based on the Act on Injury Prevention and Management (Articles 6, 9, 14, and 17), the Statistics Act (Articles 18, 23, 32, and 33), the Framework Act on Health and Medical Services (Articles 39, 41, 53, and 57), and the Personal Information Protection Act (Article 15). This statistical collection contains key results on discharged patients with injuries in 2023 and is based on the American discharge patient survey methodology.
