종합 현황은 정보화사업, 정보시스템, 모바일서비스, 하드웨어, 소프트웨어에 대해 기관 유형별로 2024년도의 현황정보를 제공하며,
분야별 현황은 각각의 현황정보를 의미 있는 통계 항목으로 세분화하였습니다.

또한, 지방교육자치단체가 2024년부터 정보자원관리시스템으로 통합하여 정보자원을 등록관리하고 있어, 2024년부터는 지방교육자치단체 통계도 포함되어 집계하였습니다.
