본 데이터는 한국청소년활동진흥원이 대한민국청소년자원봉사단(KYVP) 프로그램 참가자를 대상으로 2015년과 2016년에 수행한 사전·사후 설문을 비교 분석한 참가자 의식변화 조사 결과자료이다. 해당 조사는 참가자들의 세계시민의식, 자기인식, 대인관계, 정치·사회적 인식 수준의 변화와 봉사활동에 대한 기대효과 등을 종합적으로 측정하기 위해 실시되었으며, 각 인식 항목은 신뢰도 검증을 거친 정량 분석을 기반으로 하였다.
설문은 전국 중·고·대학생 및 일부 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 진행되었으며, 조사방법은 자기기입식 구조화 설문을 채택하였다. 사전 268명, 사후 267명을 대상으로 조사하였으며, SPSS 통계 프로그램을 활용해 빈도분석, 상관분석, 회귀분석 등의 통계기법을 적용하였다. 분석 결과에 따르면, 2016년 참가자들은 세계시민의식(+0.20), 자기인식(+0.21), 대인관계(+0.17), 정치·사회적 인식(+0.20) 등 전 영역에서 긍정적인 의식 변화가 확인되었으며, 기대효과 역시 사전 대비 평균 0.21점 상승한 것으로 나타났다
또한 교급이 만족도 및 기대효과에 영향을 주는 주요 요인으로 확인되었고, 회귀분석 결과 대인관계 인식과 세계시민의식이 기대효과에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 변수로 도출되었다. 참가자들은 봉사활동을 통해 넓은 시야와 배려심을 갖게 되었으며, 자아성찰 및 사회적 책임의식을 체득하였다고 응답하였다
본 자료는 청소년 국제봉사 프로그램의 교육 효과 검증, 유사 프로그램의 정책 수립 및 기획 근거자료, 청소년 활동 현장 적용을 위한 실증 기반 콘텐츠로 활용 가능하다. 특히 향후 국제교류형 봉사 프로그램 개선 및 정치·사회적 인식 강화를 위한 교육 콘텐츠 개발에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

This data is the result of a survey on changes in participant awareness conducted by the Korea Youth Work Promotion Agency (KYPA) in 2015 and 2016. The survey was conducted to comprehensively measure changes in participants' global citizenship awareness, self-awareness, interpersonal relationships, political and social awareness, and the expected effects of volunteer activities. Each perception item was based on a quantitative analysis that had been verified for reliability.
The survey was conducted nationwide with middle, high, and college students, as well as some out-of-school youth. The survey employed a self-administered, structured questionnaire. The survey targeted 268 participants before and 267 after the survey. Statistical techniques such as frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were applied using the SPSS statistical program. According to the analysis, the 2016 participants demonstrated positive changes in all areas, including global citizenship awareness (+0.20), self-awareness (+0.21), interpersonal relationships (+0.17), and political and social awareness (+0.20). The expected effect also showed an average increase of 0.21 points compared to the pre-test.
Furthermore, class level was identified as a major factor influencing satisfaction and expected outcomes, and regression analysis revealed that interpersonal awareness and global citizenship were statistically significant variables influencing expected outcomes. Participants reported that volunteering broadened their perspective and fostered a sense of consideration, as well as fostering self-reflection and a sense of social responsibility.
This data can be used to verify the educational effectiveness of youth international volunteer programs, as a basis for policymaking and planning for similar programs, and as empirically-based content for practical application in youth activities. In particular, it can serve as a foundation for developing educational content to improve international exchange volunteer programs and strengthen political and social awareness.
