                <dct:description xml:lang="en">Building on the world's first commercialization of 5G in 2019, Korea promoted the activation of 5G through the revision of technical standards, improvement of test methods, and the promotion of ITU international standardization. Through WRC-19, it determined the international common 5G frequency band in the 24.25–86 GHz range and established procedures for relaxing NB-IoT technical standards, interference analysis, and ITU registration. To enhance test efficiency, it explored ways to reduce measurement time tenfold by decreasing the number of sweeps and introducing an orthogonal grid method. At the same time, in the ITS sector, it aimed to strengthen the competitiveness of the 5G industry and achieve global frequency allocation through international cooperation by discussing harmonization of the 5.9 GHz band and maintaining a policy of technical neutrality between the C-V2X/DSRC camps.</dct:description>
