Under the Emissions Trading Act, the Corporation is required to calculate its greenhouse gas emissions annually and obtain certification from the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment. Accordingly, the Corporation lists its greenhouse gas-emitting facilities and calculates greenhouse gas emissions based on the energy consumption (natural gas, electricity, etc.) of each facility. The final emissions figures are finalized after third-party verification and evaluation by the Ministry of Environment.
