"공통표준용어"란 공공데이터를 누구나 같은 의미로 이해하고 같은 방식으로 사용할 수 있도록 행정안전부장관이 정한 표준용어를 말합니다. 공통표준용어는 공통표준단어”와 “공통표준도메인”의 조합으로 구성됩니다. 공통표준용어명의 공통표준단어의 조합으로 생성되고, 공통표준도메인에서 정의한 데이터 형식을 반영하고 있습니다.

공통표준용어는 공공기관이 데이터베이스(DB) 등을 구축할 때 준용하여야 하며, 공통표준 준용과 관련된 상세한 내용은 『공공기관의 데이터베이스 표준화 지침 제11조~제13조』, 『공공데이터베이스 표준화 관리 매뉴얼』을 참고하시면 됩니다.

※ 공공데이터 공통표준 8차 제·개정(2025.11월) 기준 \Common Standard Terminology\ refers to standard terminology established by the Minister of the Interior and Safety to ensure that public data can be understood and used in the same manner by everyone. Common Standard Terminology is composed of a combination of \Common Standard Words\ and \Common Standard Domains.\ Common Standard Terms are created by combining the names of common standard terms with common standard words, and reflect the data format defined in the common standard domain.
