노인주거복지시설 : 노인을 입소시켜 급식과 그 밖에 일상생활에 필요한 편의를 제공함을 목적으로 하는 시설(양로시설·노인공동생활가정 등)
노인의료복지시설 : 치매, 중풍, 노인성질환 등으로 치료와 요양을 필요로 하는 노인에게 복지서비스를 제공하는 시설(노인요양시설·노인요양공동생활가정 등)
노인여가복지시설 : 노인들이 건강하고 건전한 여가 활동을 할 수 있도록 제반 서비스를 제공하는 시설(노인복지관·경로당 등)
재가노인복지시설 : 정신적, 신체적인 이유로 독립적인 일상생활을 수행하기 곤란한 노인과 노인부양가정에 필요한 각종 서비스(방문요양, 방문목욕, 주야간보호서비스, 방문간호서비스 등)를 제공하는 시설
노인보호전문기관 : 노인인권보호사업과 노인학대예방사업을 목적으로 설치된 기관
복합노인복지시설 : 농어촌 지역에 한해 노인복지시설을 종합적으로 배치한 시설
노인일자리지원기관 : 노인이 건강한 노후생활을 영위할 수 있도록 다양한 일자리·사회활동을 지원하는 시설
아동복지시설 : 가정을 대신하여 보호가 필요한 아동을 위한 서비스를 제공하는 시설(아동양육시설, 공동생활가정, 아동상담소, 지역아동센터 등)
장애인거주시설 : 거주공간을 활용하여 일반가정에서 생활하기 어려운 장애인에게 일정 기간 동안 거주·요양·지원 등의 서비스 를 제공하는 동시에 지역사회생활을 지원하는 시설
장애인지역사회재활시설 : 장애인을 전문적으로 상담·치료·훈련하거나 장애인의 여가 활동과 사회참여 활동 등에 편의를 제공하는 시설(장애인복지관, 장애인주간보호시설, 체육시설, 공동생활가정 등)
