This data, based on the Korea Press Foundation's news database BIGKinds, systematically analyzes media assessments of the difficulty of the CSAT by year and subject. By aggregating the number of articles in each year and the average and standard deviation of media estimates of difficulty for major subjects such as Korean, Math, and English, we quantify how the media perceived and reported on the CSAT at a specific time. This allows us to objectively assess the relative differences in difficulty by subject, the intensity and trends of media discourse in specific years, and the level of public interest in educational issues.
