영상물등급위원회는「영화 및 비디오물의 진흥에 관한 법률」제71조에 따라 ‘영상물의 공공성과 윤리성을 확보하고 청소년을 보호’하기 위해 설립되었으며
동법 제72조의 영상물등의 등급분류 및 내용정보, 청소년 유해성 확인 심의 등의 직무를 수행하는 문화체육관광부 산하 공공기관입니다.

매체별(영화, 비디오, 광고물 ) 등급심의 진행 중인 건의 한글제명 ,신청사, 접수일자, 진행상태, 접수번호의 정보를 제공합니다. The Korea Media Rating Board (KMFRB) was established in accordance with Article 71 of the Act on the Promotion of Motion Pictures and Video Products to \ensure the public nature and ethics of video materials and protect youth.\ It is a public institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism that performs duties such as classifying video materials, reviewing content information, and confirming harmfulness to youth as stipulated in Article 72 of the same Act. This is a bulletin board for viewing progress data on the online rating classification system operated by the KMFRB.
