An analysis of the number of births by birth order in Gyeongsangbuk-do revealed that, based on data from Statistics Korea, there were 375 firstborns, 233 secondborns, and 67 thirdborns or older in 2023. In 2024, the numbers were 344 firstborns, 227 secondborns, and 59 thirdborns or older. In 2025, the numbers showed an increasing trend with 365 firstborns and 250 secondborns, while the number of thirdborns or older continued to decrease to 55. This data can be utilized as basic information for establishing policies to address low birth rates and promoting maternal and child health projects by identifying changes in the number of births by year and birth order. The data items consist of year, city/province, city/county/district, birth order, number of births, and data reference date.
