조사 대상은 방송미디어통신위원회에 등록된 지상파방송, 지상파DMB, 종합유선방송, 위성방송, IPTV, 방송채널사용사업자(PP), 전광판방송 등 전체 방송사업자이며, 제출된 자료를 추정하지 않고 직접 집계·분석하여 신뢰성을 확보하고 있습니다.

This is a nationally approved statistical report that systematically investigates and analyzes the overall status of the broadcasting industry. It provides foundational data for policy formulation by comprehensively identifying all sectors of the industry, including the general status of broadcasters, employees, revenue, pay TV subscribers, program production and distribution, programming, imports and exports, ownership structure, and facility investment. The subjects of the survey include all broadcasters registered with the Korea Communications Commission, such as terrestrial broadcasters, terrestrial DMB, cable television, satellite broadcasters, IPTV, program providers (PPs), and electronic display broadcasters.
