This data is generated based on monthly city gas supply for the winter season (December to February of the following year) nationwide and five metropolitan areas: the Seoul Capital Area, Chungcheong Province, Greater Seoul, Honam, and Southeastern regions. City gas supply data refers to the amount delivered by the Korea Gas Corporation to local city gas companies. Therefore, it is aggregated based on total city gas volume without distinction of purpose. This data can be used as a trend variable in city gas peak demand forecasts. City gas peak demand has an upward trend due to the overall increase in city gas demand and shows fluctuations in demand due to winter temperature changes.
