The Biographic Map of Ancient Documents is a systematically organized metadata system for information on figures appearing in ancient documents digitized by the Jangseogak (Academy of Korean Studies). This data extracts the names of individuals mentioned in the original texts of ancient documents, and includes a unique identifier (ID) for each individual, along with unique identification information for the documents in which they are mentioned. This data is designed to build a biographical network based on ancient documents.
