This data is a CSV statistical collection that aggregates the scale of research and development (R&D) projects and the size of participating researchers by year and institution. The number of projects (projects) completed by each institution in a given year allows for quantitative analysis of the R&D activity of each institution. The number of researchers actually participating in project execution is also provided based on the same criteria, allowing for a simultaneous assessment of the scale of human resources commitment. The inclusion of these two indicators in a single data set allows for comparisons of the relationship between project execution and human resource commitment across institutions, or for examining year-to-year changes in project implementation and human resource commitment within the same institution. This data can serve as basic statistics for compiling the status of research performance by institution from a R&D policy and operation perspective.
