점자지도는 지형도의 주요 지형, 지물 등을 돌출된 선과 양각면, 음각면, 점자, 촉지기호 등을 활용하고 간략하게 표시하여 만져서 알 수 있는 지도
국토지리정보원에서는 사회적약자(시각장애인용)들이 공간정보 활용에 불편이 없도록 교육용, 생활용 점자지도(60종)를 제작하여, 전국 맹학교, 점자도서관 등에 배포하고 있으며, 출력용 파일은 국토정보플랫폼을 통해 지도데이터를 320개 목록으로 제공 하고 있다.
