공사는 도시가스사업법 제 25조 2(도시가스 품질검사)에 따라 고품질의 천연가스를 공급하기 위하여 전국 가스공급지점을 대상으로 외부 공인시험기관인 한국가스안전공사로부터 품질검사를 주기적으로 수검받고 있습니다.
검사결과는 천연가스를 원료로 사용하는 발전 및 산업시설 등에서 안전, 보건 및 환경측면의 영향성 지표로써 활용할 수 있도록 공개합니다.
활용예시로는 천연가스 품질(열량, 웨버지수 등) 정보 확인, 배출가스내 황산화물 농도 예측 및 부취제 허용농도 준수여부 등이 있습니다. In accordance with Article 25, Paragraph 2 (City Gas Quality Inspection) of the City Gas Business Act, the Corporation periodically receives quality inspections from the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, an external accredited testing agency, targeting gas supply points nationwide in order to supply high-quality natural gas. The inspection results are disclosed so that they can be used as indicators of safety, health, and environmental impact in power generation and industrial facilities that use natural gas as a raw material.
