This report summarizes the results of a bird survey conducted in 2018, part of the 4th National Natural Environment Survey (2014-2018) conducted by the National Institute of Ecology, organized by map. Bird surveys are conducted to assess the health of ecosystems and to understand the distribution and diversity of bird species, habitat characteristics, and changes in habitat status. This report systematically records the species, population, and habitat conditions of various bird species, including resident, summer, winter, and migratory birds. It also provides the distribution status and habitat conditions of major bird species by survey area. It also includes the presence of legally protected species, such as endangered wild species and natural monuments, and can serve as a basis for establishing natural environment conservation policies and environmental impact assessments. Map-by-map data can also be utilized for policies such as regional ecosystem assessments, bird habitat protection zone designations, and ecotourism resource management.
