The US Patent Litigation Information data includes the following information for each case: case number, plaintiff name, defendant name, plaintiff information, defendant information, dispute details, industry classification, and industry sub-classification. * Cases involving domestic companies are anonymized. Industry classifications are divided into six major categories: mechanical materials, miscellaneous industries, device industries, electrical and electronics, information and communications, and chemicals and biotechnology. Each major category is further subdivided into industry sub-classifications.
