This document, published in 2018, is the original text of the report, \Policy Diagnosis and Measures for University Education Innovation (II): Focusing on Strengthening University Faculty Capacity.\ This study aimed to identify the competencies required of faculty to improve the quality of university education, which serves as a focal point for fostering creative talent that meets societal demands, and to develop specific policy measures to strengthen these competencies. This report is the second year of a multi-year study, which began in 2017 and continued through 2019. The report consists of five chapters and includes information on university faculty policies and their current status, analyses of domestic university faculty capacity building cases, and examples of faculty capacity building in major countries.
